Today’s post is a pencil sketch, from a while back. I was not happy with anything new from yesterday. This drawing does not have a title, and I can not think of one that I’m completely happy to place upon it. My thoughts are about the polite robot waiting for the birds to finish their conversation. He is practicing the long forgotten art of listening. I’m guilty of wanting to talk more than I listen, so the robot is certainly the hero in this work. It is easy, to be thinking about what you will say next, or to put in your two cents worth, rather than listen and reflect on what the other birdie, or person has just said. I think today is a good day to practice listening.
