Pen only for today. Ok, there is pencil under the finished pen, but no color from art markers this time. I was thinking about someone taking a picture of their friend in the park, while creating this drawing. I really wanted to see what I could do with out the color and focus on just lines. A friend asked me if I was the person in the drawing. After thinking for a moment, I replied that it was maybe me, not really sure, but like yesterdays drawing it wasn’t consciously a thought during the creation. It reminds me of the lyrics from Tori Amos’ song “Tears in Your Hands,” where she says, “Maybe she’s just pieces of me you’ve never seen.” Hmm, maybe I’m drawing pieces of me that I’ve never seen. 🙂
