Today’s drawing is all India Ink. Ok, the border is from a Sharpie, because I don’t have a pen that wide yet. Anyway, I originally had this idea of someone with something on their head, that was obvious to everyone else. The thought evolved into the two creatures being friends. The bird is reluctant to take to the skies and fly. I thought about how many times something that I needed to do seemed, as impossible as flight seems. Worrying about the problem was far worse, than when I actually did it. The birds all make flight look effortless, especially on a warm day, when they are just gliding with the wind. They had to at least try first. Then, they simply fly. May you find ease and simplicity in all of your efforts.
