Happy 4th of July to everyone! Here is a watercolor that I have been working on, and it is my personal favorite to date. It is no secret that I like to paint and draw birds, but this painting really flowed from thought to form easily for me. I’m kicking around the idea of writing and illustrating a children’s book for the fall, and these little guys could certainly end up in the book. I have a couple of friends who may have leads for me to get it published, but I’m certainly open to further help and suggestions. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and weekend. 🙂
I think these birds are ADOrAblE! They remind me of the Rat Pack for some reason;they seem very hip! I’m hoping that you do not, however, write or draw about that seriously confused bird we saw in Target parking lot earlier this summer…That might scare the children!
I hope to see and hear more of these birds and their adventures in the near future.
