This is a sketch for an illustration I’m working on, for the Illustration Friday theme “impossibility.” I will talk more about the drawing, when I post the finished illustration. Looking at my blog, I noticed that I rarely posted the drawing and sketches that start my illustrations, so this is a look at my process. It’s fun to see how drawings and doodles develop into the finished pieces. I love my pens, paints, and computer based art, but there is something magical about drawing with a pencil on a piece of paper.
