I will have two paintings in the Cooper Young Art For Art’s Sake Auction. If you are in the midtown Memphis area the auction is Sat. April 13, 2013 from 6 – 9PM at the Young Avenue Deli and the Artist Reception is Thurs. March 28th from 5 – 7PM at Otherland’s Coffee Bar.
I have two 16×20 acrylic on canvas paintings in the auction. My two paintings are inspired from my love for the future, cartoons, illustration, and space travel. The palette and colors are inspired from a wonderful book my mother gave me on my 41st birthday, Off into Space, illustrated by Bernice Myers in 1959.
